Make a Card using the Tarnished Foil Technique

I showed how to make this card using the tarnished foil technique during today’s Make-it-Monday Facebook Live. The technique is quick and easy to do and leaves this gorgeous background!

Trying my best not to distract from the tarnished foil background I created a small sentiment tag on the card using a die from the Stitched Nesting Labels. My new favorite embellishment is the metallic ribbon from Stampin’ Up!’s Basket Weave Metallic Ribbon Combo and I adhered a bit of it over top of the stamped wheat image. I used the wheat image on the card insert as well.

• Card Base = 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″ on the 8-1/2″ side, folded on score line to create card base.
• Basic Black = 5″ x 4-1/4″
• Whisper White = 4-7/8″ x 3-5/8″
• Very Vanilla = 4″ x 2-1/2″ (sentiment tag), 5-1/4″ x 4″ (card insert)
