Make a Simply Fabulous 4th of July Treat Holder

We’re celebrating the Fourth of July here in the United States this weekend. It’s a big party and I wanted to share some cute party favors at our celebration. I found this simple little treat holder while browsing the internet for ideas.

Aren’t they the cutest? Another bonus is that they are easy peasy to make and don’t require any special tools! I used the Layering Circles Dies from Stampin’ Up! to embellish but you can use whatever your stash holds to decorate them. I’ve given a few alternative ideas in my video tutorial from today’s Coffe & a Card Facebook Live. You can watch the replay below.

The treat holder uses a 6″ x 4″ piece of Designer Series Paper that is scored at 7/8″ on the 6″ side. This score line will be at the bottom of the treat holder so pay attention to the pattern direction on your paper. Next, score at 1/2″ and 2-1/4″ the full length of the 4″ side. Finally score at 1-3/8″ and 3-1/8″ on the 6″ side just to the 7/8″ horizontal score line.
